4. Purposes and legal bases
- To provide the website, dashboard, account, support, and security features. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary for our contract with you, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
- To generate, edit, schedule, publish, and analyze LinkedIn content based on your instructions and connected accounts. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

5. AI processing
publyc uses AI systems to understand your instructions, summarize context, draft and edit LinkedIn content, interpret analytics, and operate the conversational product experience. For these purposes, we may process the content you provide, previous conversation context, profile information, drafts, analytics, and related metadata.
We use AI and infrastructure providers as processors where needed to provide the service. We aim to send only the data that is reasonably necessary for the requested feature.
6. WhatsApp and LinkedIn integrations
If you use publyc through WhatsApp, your messages are also processed by the relevant WhatsApp/Meta services under their own terms and privacy information. If you connect LinkedIn, publyc processes the permissions and data needed to provide the connected features, such as reading profile or post information and publishing approved posts. LinkedIn access tokens are stored in encrypted form where technically required.
You can disconnect LinkedIn or stop using WhatsApp with publyc at any time. Some data may remain stored where we need it for account history, security, legal obligations, or service continuity.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the website, keep you signed in, secure sessions, and remember basic preferences. If we use non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, we will request consent where required by law.
8. Recipients and service providers
We may share personal data with service providers who help us operate publyc, including hosting, database, storage, authentication, email, messaging, AI model, LinkedIn integration, analytics, support, security, and payment providers. These providers process data only as needed for their services and, where required, under data processing agreements.
We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, to prevent abuse, or in connection with a business transfer.
9. International transfers
Some providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other safeguards permitted by GDPR.
10. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing publyc, maintaining account history and security, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods may differ depending on the data type and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your account or specific personal data, unless we are legally allowed or required to keep it.
11. Your rights
Under GDPR, you may have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and information about your personal data. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
To exercise your rights, contact hello@publyc.app. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
12. Security
We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but we work to keep publyc calm, boring, and serious where security matters.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when publyc changes, when providers change, or when legal requirements change. The version published on this page is the current version.
